Techflow's heat/cooling system configurations are engineered to optimize production and simplify maintenance. The barrel heat/cool unit on our HS seriers extruder is supplied with finned heater exchangers that are enclosed in an insulated housing. This system facilates optimum melt temperatures regardless of the composition of each batch.
System Features:
  • Outside temperature of shroud will not exceed 39°C/100°F
  • Single blower barrier heat/cool system divided into multiple
    barrel zone (Size Dependant)
  • Each barrier zone includes high efficiency ceramic heaters
    with a patented system that ensures a temperature control of ± 1° C
  • Significant power consumption savings
  • Zones individually divided by an integrated insulated
    shroud, easily removed for maintenance
