Main Controller-Operator Controls
The IS-IBC1 Controller manages all aspects of the bubble cooling system. The controls are designed to simplify the operation of starting, adjusting, and maintaining the bubble. The IS-IBC1 comes equipped with color touch screen controls, patented automatic blower balance, dual sensors, patented layflat controller, bubble break detector, layflat deviation alarm, management alert beacon, and a five port Ethernet modem all as standard. Options include increasing total sensor count up to eight, the patented automatic cage controller and dual touch screen operator stations. The IS-IBC1 can be equipped for most any IBC blown film die.
Sensor Termination
The familiar blue box on found on all previous generations of IS-IBC1 systems has been replaced by the single point, 8 port sensor termination box. All the functions formerly done by the position processor are now done within the main controller. The new smart sensor technology is a microprocessor based ultrasonic sensor. The new family of sensors provides more power, better accuracy, and lower cost of ownership. The units are tamperproof, as internal configurations are programmed and permanently saved in the sensor.
Bladder Valve
A key element to optimum bubble stability is the efficient control of the airflow into the die. The patented bladder valve provides precise control of the cooling air even at high air exchange rates. The bladder valve comes in a variety of sizes to fit most blown film dies. Installation is made easy with air duct adapter kits for most ducting diameters. The bladder valve is designed to provide years of trouble free operation. |
